Robot Rumpus Fall 2011 Benefit

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Durango Discovery Museum during our Fall Benefit! Robot Rumpus was a rip roarin' good time. While we were busy partying like a robot- the event raised over $5,000 for our Education department STEM programs.

A huge thanks to Jennifer Lyndes and Artistic Taste catering for the "Rumpus Snack Attack"

The crowd was amazed by Ryan Finnigan, Alexi Carey and crew's robotic musical demonstrations and Benny the Booze Organ's margarita's were going down easy. Our signature cocktails were flowing and the Music grooved us all.

It's never too early to start planning  a party. Our Fall 2012 benefit is slated for September 8, 2012. Prepare yourself for an Architecture Adventure.

Why all these benefits?
The museum is committed to being inclusive and accessible to all—we do not turn anyone away for lack of funds. While local, state, and federal funding helped us open, the museum is not subsidized by government funding. Instead, we rely on community support to continue offering innovative science programs and quality exhibits. You helped us open; now help us stay open! Plus, we all really need another reason to dress up and get our geek on.

Would you and your organization like to be a benefit sponsor? That would be highly logical.
