Bill Mensch: Embedded Intelligence

bill.jpgThis Wednesday, the Discovery Museum is proud to host inventor William D. (Bill) Mensch Jr., internationally celebrated as a pioneer in the microprocessor industry. His architecture of the MOS Technology 6502 microprocessor is credited with creating the PC and video game industries, which gave rise to companies like Apple, Atari, and Intel.

Holder of 22 patents for microprocessors, microprocessor peripheral devices, and microprocessor systems, Bill is the namesake of the museum's Mensch Spark Shop and is an ardent supporter of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational programs.

His hour-long seminar is scheduled this Wednesday, March 30, from 4 to 5pm in the Mensch Spark Shop. He will explore the concept of Embedded Intelligence in our society, in our natural world, and in our man-made computer programming world.

All ages are invited, and it's FREE. See you there!
