The Durango Discovery Museum is a volunteer driven community project. Volunteers with passion and enthusiasm are welcome! The Discovery Museum is currently looking for volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors and the following projects and skills:

• National Historic Landmark designation
• Equipment refurbishing and display
• Grant research and writing
• Fundraising: Business Sponsorship
• Fundraising: Individual Benefactors

• Fundraising: Riverfront Plaza
• Fundraising: Sustainable future addition
• Develop educational relationships
• Exhibit and workshop planning
• Education outreach
• Museum operations planning
• Accounting
